Norton 360 settings password can be reset by using the reset settings password option in the Select Uninstall Preference window.
In order to do this, you have to start the uninstall process for Norton 360 via your Microsoft Windows Control Panel. Please note that you will not uninstall Norton 360, but only use the reset password feature to solve your lost password problem.

  • In Windows Control Panel, open Add or Remove Programs (for Windows XP) / Programs and Features (for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8), and then select Norton 360 and click Change/Remove (Windows XP) / Uninstall/Change (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8).
  • At the bottom of the Select Your Uninstall Preference window, click reset settings password, and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you don’t want to use this protection feature, the Norton 360 Settings Protection Password can be turned off. This can be done in the Settings window, under Detailed Settings, click Administrative Settings.
